What are some requirements for peering with Fastly?

In order to peer with Fastly, you must:

• Have a PeeringDB account that is affiliated with the organization that you are affiliated with.

Unsure if you have an affiliated PeeringDB account? If you have an affiliated PeeringDB account, when you log into PeeringDB and click on your profile name on the top right of the screen, you will see on the left side of the screen "Delete Affiliation." If you do not see "Delete Affiliation," then you can use PeeringDB's affiliation request instructions to request an affiliation.

How does peering with Fastly work?

Peering with Fastly is a simple process with three easy steps.

1. You will authenticate through PeeringDB by:
   1. Inserting your PeeringDB username and password into the credential fields.
   2. Entering a token generated and sent either to the email specified in your PeeringDB account or a multifactor authentication application like Duo.
   3. Clicking the "Authorize" button
2. From there, you will be presented with all the connections that both Fastly and your organization share in common. If there are no connections that are currently shared between your organization and Fastly, you will be informed at that time. However, if both Fastly and your organization share at least one connection, you will be able to select the connection you would like to peer with.
3. Fill out the form requesting the connection and submit!
